Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, sonographers, genetic counselors, and administrative staff.

Ideal candidates will have additional familiarity with procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and cerclage, alongside experience managing high-risk obstetric cases involving conditions like pre-eclampsia, growth restriction, and fetal anomalies. Knowledge of obstetric ultrasound and fetal monitoring is vital.

Preferred qualifications include certification and licensure in maternal-fetal medicine, with a minimum of three years' experience in high-risk obstetrics. Prior experience with EMR systems, particularly EPIC, is advantageous. Active licensure and certification are required, with a credentialing timeline of approximately 90 days.

Other requirements include the ability to work on specific dates tentatively scheduled (e.g., May 8-15, 16-22, 26-31), and a willingness to support both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role may involve travel reimbursements, including flights, hotels, rentals, and mileage, reimbursed at IRS standard rates.
