Hannibal Regional Healthcare System is a multi-clinic, 99 bed- single hospital system, providing services to patients from Northeast Missouri, Southeast Iowa and West-Central Illinois. Hannibal Regional recently completed a $63 million dollar renovation and expansion project. Our NEW surgical suites are outfitted with state of the art technology.
Position Purpose:
In HRHS sponsored GME programs, the residency program director is responsible for program administration and operations, and for residents’ recruitment and selection; education in the context of patient care; supervision; assessment, promotion and disciplinary actions; scholarly activity; and for the establishment of an effective learning climate at all teaching sites. Specific responsibilities may be delegated by the program director but he/she is accountable to the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC), the designated institutional official (DIO), and to the ACGME Residency Review Committee (RRC) for the timely and accurate completion of all tasks.
