The Opportunity

We are hiring a Full-Time Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive ambulatory medical services to patients and families with a wide range of healthcare needs.

This is an outpatient-focused role within a collaborative, mission-centered clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive ambulatory medical services within the scope of Internal Medicine for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease
  • Examine patients for symptoms of organic or congenital disorders
  • Determine the nature and extent of injury or illness using diagnostic imaging and laboratory testing
  • Prescribe medications and recommend dietary and activity programs based on diagnosis
  • Refer patients to medical specialists when appropriate
  • Assist clinic administration in developing and implementing programs relevant to Native American healthcare
  • Participate in in-service education programs for clinic health professionals
  • Maintain confidentiality, security, and integrity of patient data
  • Maintain licensure and required certifications

Qualifications

  • Alignment with OKCIC’s vision, mission, and core values
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
  • Documentation of completion of accredited residency in Family Medicine
  • Unrestricted professional license in the State of Oklahoma
  • Board-certified or Board-eligible through the American Board of Family Medicine
  • Current CPR certification required
  • ACLS certification preferred

Important: Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this role, medical marijuana license holders who test positive for marijuana are not eligible for employment.
