Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to provide expert mental health services in Tuskagee, AL. This full-time, day-shift role involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with some on-call rotations during nights and weekends. You will be instrumental in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients' psychiatric conditions, ensuring they receive compassionate and effective care. Required Skills:

• Active, unrestricted medical license in any state
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, and DEA certifications
• Ability to pass government background checks
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in a hospital or outpatient setting
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Additional certifications in mental health or related fields

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Prior experience in psychiatric practice, preferably in a hospital or community health setting
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
• Commitment to maintaining licensure and certifications current

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $180, which includes on-call hours at $50/hr, along with benefits such as weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick time, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program.
