Family Medicine Physician – Perm, Full-Time — Pueblo, Colorado

UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Family Medicine Physician to join our outstanding medical team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive, acute, and chronic illness management, to a diverse patient population.
• Manage a full patient load with approximately 36 face-to-face clinical hours per week, enabling quality patient interactions and sufficient time for professional development.
• Coordinate and utilize nearby laboratory and imaging services to facilitate timely and effective diagnostics.
• Employ efficient patient paneling strategies to ensure continuity of care and foster long-term patient relationships.
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation with fellow Family Medicine providers to ensure 24/7 patient support.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians and advanced practice providers within a physician-led environment.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative patient care strategies aligned with UCHealth’s mission of delivering world-class healthcare.
• Engage actively in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings to enhance healthcare delivery.
• Support UCHealth’s commitment to accessible healthcare, community engagement, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (must complete residency).
• Truly Board Eligible physicians are encouraged to apply; certification must be obtained within a defined period.
• Active medical license in the state of Colorado or eligible for licensure.
• No visa sponsorship available; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Commitment to providing patient-centered, empathetic care in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $257,000 to $286,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000.
• Performance Bonuses: Generous productivity bonus based on wRVUs.
• Loan Repayment: Up to $24,000 in student loan repayment assistance ($1,000/month for 2 years).
