Hematology and Medical Oncology Physician - Killeen, Texas

BSWH is seeking a Hematology & Medical Oncologist to join our outstanding BSWH Cancer Center in Killeen, Texas. This is a career opportunity with a generous benefits package. It offers work-life balance, a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, and no state income tax.

Position Highlights: 

• Support Staff: Join a team of 2 other physicians, nurse coordinators, nurse navigator, and clerical/scheduling staff at a dedicated and established cancer center. 

• Office hours: Monday- Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm. 

• Convenience of: Onsite lab, pharmacy, infusion center, and Radiation Oncology. 

• Referral base: primary care network, surgeons, and inpatient from connecting hospital.

• Tools: EMR - EPIC and BEACON, DAX – AI Ambient Listening – improves clinical workflows and patient experience.

• Opportunities for: Clinical Trials. Academic affiliation of Baylor College of Medicine- Temple Campus.

      Benefits

• Time off: PPTO, Practicing Physician Time Off allows for vacations and personal time starting with 27 days per year. 6 federally recognized holidays and sick time are not deducted from your available days and are paid as regular salary.

• Licensure and dues - we pay annual re-licensure fees and DEA renewal fees for full and part-time physicians. 

• CME: 15 workdays; $4,250 in reimbursement per calendar year.

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
