Become part of a physician-led 650+ provider multispecialty group with an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care. Saint Alphonsus is a principal provider of evidence-based, interdisciplinary behavioral health services within the region. Our outpatient "medically complex" practice provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for adults with complex medical conditions and mental health disorders.
Working closely with the practice staff, this PRN/part-time employed psychiatrist will provide on-site or telemed consultation for diagnosis and therapeutic interventions for patients of the practice who have mental health problems. Position will provide medication management coverage for full-time psychiatrist during leave (FMLA, PTO/vacation, CME). The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assess and treat a diverse adult patient population with a wide variety of mental health disorders, the ability to work well with a collegial interdisciplinary team, and the desire to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. The schedule consists of working a minimum of one day per week.
Support: The practice includes 3 physicians, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 2 psychologists, and 1 social worker. Subspecialty consultants, outpatient lab and inpatient resources are located on-campus. This practice is a part of a multi-specialty network of 70+ Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) Clinics.
