Required Skills:

• Valid medical license and current board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Proven experience in hospital medicine, including vent management
• Demonstrated ability to manage critically ill patients with autonomy
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to document procedures clearly and accurately, with a focus on vent management case logs

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with ICU privileges and ventilator management
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
• Previous locum tenens or temporary hospitalist experience
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS and PALS

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years’ hospitalist experience
• Recent case logs showing at least 15 vent management procedures within the past 24 months

Other Requirements:

• Valid state medical license and hospital privileges for vent management
• Evidence of recent case logs reflecting required experience (must be submitted with application)
• Ability to work day shifts, Tuesday to Tuesday, from 7 am to 7 pm, with availability for 1-2 weeks per month starting mid-April or early May, pending credentialing
