Job Description

Adult Medicine Physician needed: Continuation of A 21-Year Tradition in the North Georgia Foothills

We are seeking a dedicated physician to join our established outpatient practice not merely as a provider, but as a future cornerstone of our community. This is a rare, opportunity designed for a physician who values a community medicine feel and is looking to integrate into a thriving practice, with a loyal patient panel alongside a founding physician committed to a seamless, long-term legacy plan.

The Heart of the Community

Practicing here means becoming part of the community. Located in the North Georgia, our patients are a blend of multi-generational families, skilled craftsmen, and those who have traded the city’s pace for the quiet dignity of the mountains. The people here are independent, grounded, and deeply loyal; they value a physician who listens as much as they lead. They aren't looking for a "provider"—they are looking for a doctor who understands their history, respects their personal health journeys, and honors the 21-year bond of trust this clinic has fostered. If you appreciate a culture where neighbors still help neighbors and health is viewed through a holistic, personalized lens, you will find your home here.

Why This Path is Different

  • A True Succession: Enjoy an immediate opening with a clear, collaborative path to practice partnership (with buy-in) over a flexible 12- to 24-month transition period.
  • The Luxury of Time: Prioritize quality over volume. Our relaxed schedule is tailored to patient needs, allowing for deep focus on patient education and complex chronic care management.
  • A Culture of Respect: We honor our patients' personal health decisions, including holistic, natural, and supplement-based approaches. We are looking for a partner who gets this philosophy.
  • Exceptional Quality of Life: * 4-Day Work Week: (M-Th) for a 36-hour full-time schedule.
    • Clinic Hours: 7:45 am – 5:00 pm.
    • Balanced Call: Light, phone-only rotation with a stipend; no hospital or nursing home rounds required.
  • Inherit a Legacy: Step into a stable, 21-year patient base (primarily adolescents and adults with a 50% geriatric concentration). Due to the adult/geriatric focus, Internal Medicine (IM) training is preferred.
  • Elite Support: Work alongside a tenured Office Manager and a highly functional clinical team, including 5 MAs/LPNs and 2 Nurse Practitioners—one focused on full-time care and the other dedicated to documentation and chart reviews to maximize your efficiency.
