Practice: Blackwood Family Medicine

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (36 hours patient-facing, 4 hours administrative). Other scheduling options may be considered.

Blackwood Family Medicine is a well-established, patient-centered primary care practice in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to individuals and families. We focus on preventive health, chronic disease management, and comprehensive wellness to ensure our patients achieve their best health outcomes in a supportive and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care.
• Family Medicine physicians will see all ages
• Average patient volume of 18-22 patients per day.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with practice and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• No evenings and no weekends.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible (if within two years of residency) in Family Medicine.
• Active Virginia medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach.
• 2025 resident graduates are encouraged to apply!
