The Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center (KRRC) partners with hospitals, private practices, community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and other organizations to help strengthen the health care workforce in rural and urban under resourced communities across the State. KRRC services are designed to assist Kansas communities in recruiting and retaining physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, APRNs, nurses, dental hygienists, allied health professionals, and behavioral health professionals. In addition to offering recruitment support for Kansas health care facilities and job search support to a variety of health care providers, the KRRC offers resources for CV/resume building, interview prep, and contract negotiation.
Currently partnering with 55+ health care organizations, we serve as their initial point of contact and liaison in recruiting those seeking to serve in rural and urban underserved communities.
Our hospital-employed position is part of a recently acquired independent practice that now consists of three advanced practice providers and four physicians. The team covers four Rural Health Clinics and a Critical Access Hospital, with an active OB Program.
We are located in a thriving community rich in history offering many attractions and amenities, including a 3,000-acre federal reservoir, a 500-acre city lake, two-disc golf courses and an amphitheater. We also boast many historical sites, great local restaurants, downtown shopping, an aquatic center, and a 9-hole golf course in the beautiful Flint Hills. Our award-winning schools provide high quality, child centered education programming from pre-school to 12th grade and the city recreation hosts numerous opportunities for kids, including baseball, soccer, and basketball clinics, and a youth football program. While our cost of living is well below the national average, our greatest amenity is our people. This is a great place to build a business or practice, raise a family, be surrounded by nature, be supported by neighbors, and begin a new chapter.
