About this role:
As a Physician in Critical Care medicine you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You will be an integral member of a collaborative, multi?disciplinary team caring for complex, critically ill patients.
In this role you can anticipate:
- Practicing at St. Mary's Regional Hospital located in Grand Junction, CO
- Providing care in a 32-bed mixed medical/surgical ICU with a schedule of 19 weeks per year, working 7-day blocks of 12-hour shifts (.8 FTE)
- Working alongside two physicians during the day, and serving as the sole ICU provider overnight.
- Ideal candidates will be able to perform advanced bronchoscopy, including EBUS procedures.
How we'll support you:
- Competitive Compensation: $372,000.00 annually, plus wRVU production incentives
- wRVU Compensation Model: wRVU Threshold: 3,992 wRVUs per year; $62.00 per wRVU above threshold
- Quality Incentive: Up to $40,000 annually
- Excess/PRN Shift Rate: $3,173 per 12?hour shift
- Incentives: $24,000 starting bonus, up to $16,000 relocation assistance (if applicable), $60,000 Student Loan Assistance (if applicable)

What you’ll bring:
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- ACGME accredited residency training in Internal Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
