What You’ll Do:
As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions in young patients, developing personalized care plans rooted in the latest clinical practices. Your expertise will help guide families through challenging times and foster resilience among youth.
Required Skills:
- Valid Massachusetts medical license in good standing
- Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) training
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in outpatient, inpatient, or community mental health settings
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse populations
- Leadership or mentorship experience within psychiatric settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Residency training in Psychiatry with specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Prior experience in licensed mental health facilities or schools preferred
- Minimum of 2 years post-certification clinical practice
Other Requirements:
- Must hold an active Massachusetts medical license
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
- Commitment to providing culturally competent, patient-centered care
- Compensation commences at $1.00 per hour, with potential adjustments based on experience and credentials
