Job Title: Internal Medicine Physician

Overview:
Join our dedicated team as an Internal Medicine Physician at MultiCare Yakima Memorial's IM clinic, MultiCare Memorial Cornerstone Medicine. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality patient care within a well-resourced environment, including a collaborative team of healthcare professionals and on-site specialty services such as GI, Endocrinology, lab, pharmacy, dietitians, and diabetes education. As a vital member of our team, you will help improve health outcomes and serve our community with compassion and expertise.

Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
• Excellent clinical skills and strong patient communication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in outpatient primary care
• Familiarity with EMR platforms
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
• Additional certifications such as ACLS or BLS

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of clinical practice in a primary care or internal medicine setting
• Demonstrated experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment

Other Requirements:

• Ability to begin assignment ASAP following credentialing
• Willingness to participate in in-basket message coverage
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care during scheduled hours
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break
