Join Our Team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician – Make a Difference in Patient Care

We are seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide exceptional care in an outpatient setting, starting June 15, 2026. This vital role offers an excellent opportunity to specialize in benign hematology and contribute significantly to patient health within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. Your expertise will help manage an average of 15+ hematology patients daily, focusing on general hematology and mild fluctuations in outpatient care, with the chance to collaborate alongside experienced nurses, pharmacists, APPs, and other specialists.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Board certification in Hematology and/or Oncology (preferred double boarded)
• At least 2-3 years of clinical experience in hematology or oncology
• Valid State of North Carolina medical license
• DEA certification
• BLS certified
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically EPIC (assessment required)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Comfortable managing benign hematology cases and general oncology patients
• Ability to write prescriptions, order tests, and coordinate with pharmacies

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in general oncology practice
• Additional certifications or specialized training in hematology or oncology
• Prior experience working with EPIC EMR platform

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2-3 years post-residency experience in hematology/oncology
• Proven track record in outpatient clinic management

Other Requirements:

• Travel reimbursement for flights, rental cars, and lodging
• Ability to work a 4-day, 10-hour day shift (07:00–16:00)
• Willingness to work holidays with added pay (1.5x rate)
• Eligible for licensure, DEA, and certification reimbursements
• Must have reliable transportation and accommodation arrangements as applicable

This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $507.00, a comprehensive benefits package, weekly pay via direct deposit, and bonus programs to reward your commitment.
