Hospice Physician - Occassional - Wausua, Wisconsin

Aspirus Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled physician who is interested in joining our Hospice team to provide high-quality, patient-centered end-of-life care.

Aspirus Health is dedicated to alleviating symptoms and providing compassionate end-of-life support to our patients and their families. While hospice may not extend days, it profoundly enhances the quality of their remaining time.

Hospice care is essential in ensuring patients receive compassionate, comprehensive care that honors the whole individual—addressing physical comfort, emotional well-being, and spiritual needs. Through an interdisciplinary, patient-centered approach, hospice supports both patients and their families during one of life’s most meaningful transitions, helping them experience dignity, comfort, and connection.

• Occasional, tele-health schedule
• Ideal schedule Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
• Call 1:6
• Cover hospice certifications and recertifications
• Cover Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings
• Medication management/reconciliations
• Symptom management
• Must be/become licensed in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota
