Cleveland Clinic is seeking a distinguished physician leader to serve as Enterprise Breast Center Director, a newly created role dedicated to advancing patient-centered breast care across the entire Cleveland Clinic health system. As the Breast Center evolves as an enterprise-wide program, the Director will play a central role in shaping its organizational structure, clinical model, and long-term strategic priorities across the health system.
This enterprise-wide leadership position reports directly to the Chief of Staff Office, with dotted-line reporting to the Institute Chiefs within the Clinical Institutes that closely collaborate with the Breast Center, including the Integrated Surgery Institute, Cancer Institute, Diagnostic Institute, Primary Care Institute, and the Obstetrics & Gynecologic Institute. The primary office location will be Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus in Cleveland, Ohio. However, the Enterprise Breast Center Director will provide enterprise-wide leadership and strategic direction for both breast cancer services and benign breast diseases across all Cleveland Clinic locations, including hospitals in Ohio, Florida, Abu Dhabi, and London (future).
Position Overview
The Cleveland Clinic Breast Center is a nationally recognized referral center offering comprehensive breast service services that include screening, diagnosis, and treatment of benign breast diseases. This role will have a sharp focus on elevating and expanding our current screening and diagnostic programs and ensuring seamless transitions from our diagnostic teams to the care of our highly integrated breast cancer care program. The Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer program holds Full Accreditation from the American College of Surgeons’ National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) and operates through a highly integrated, multidisciplinary care model. Our breast cancer care team includes breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, psychologists and plastic surgeons working collaboratively to deliver highly individualized, coordinated care.
In 2025, Cleveland Clinic’s Ohio and Florida locations collectively cared for more than 19,000 patients with breast disease, reflecting the scale, complexity, and enterprise-wide reach of the Breast Center program.
As the enterprise program continues to evolve, the Enterprise Breast Center Director will have ultimate responsibility for defining and advancing the Center’s vision, including clinical, educational, and research strategy, while ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and national leadership in breast health. The role includes a faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
