The role would primarily focus on meeting the needs in the outpatient setting with a strong referral base, large employer-health clinic and very little GI competition. Inpatient load would be minimized by highly-skilled and engaged 24/7 hospitalists who manage all the admissions and discharges. Call burden would be capped to no more than 1:6 and inpatient consults tailored to the outpatient schedule.

Ascension St. Vincent Anderson and Kokomo hospitals are both certified Primary Stroke and Chest Pain Centers and Ascension St. Vincent Anderson is a Level III Trauma Center. Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo provides over 25,000 emergency room visits annually and Ascension St. Vincent Anderson provides over 40,000 emergency room visits annually. Our services include mental health and addictions unit, state-of-the-art cancer center, women’s center, and outpatient rehabilitation center. Our primary care and multi-specialty doctors provide a network of integrated care community health partners for Madison and Howard County residents. Hospitalized patients at both facilities are admitted to our Hospitalist service. We serve patients and families from throughout central Indiana for acute and advanced healthcare needs.
