Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join our growing Hospital Medicine team at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, Connecticut.

Charlotte Hungerford Hospital serves as a vital healthcare hub for Northwestern Connecticut and surrounding communities.

Our Hospital Medicine program is expanding to meet growing patient demand, with a strong emphasis on:

Hospitalist Program Highlights

• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off (block schedule for optimal work-life balance)
• Daily Census: ~45 patients (shared between day and night providers)
• Admissions: 5–10 per day
• Staffing Model: Typically 2 providers on per shift
• ICU Model: Closed ICU with specialty and intensivist support
