We are seeking dedicated and skilled General Medicine Physicians to provide high-quality care for Veterans through diverse clinical assessments. Required Skills:
- Active medical license and certification in general medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine
- Experience performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments
- Proficiency with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular evaluations
- Ability to conduct interview-based assessments and physical range of motion/muscle strength testing
- Competence with METs testing, respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological evaluations
- Use of Goniometer required
- Quick credentialing and onboarding capabilities
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and record review processes
- Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions
- Prior work with Veterans or government agencies
- Experience with Reach360 or similar electronic provider training platforms
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Previous experience in a clinical or assessment setting involving veterans or government healthcare programs
- Certification in DMA (Defense Medical Examination) or willingness to obtain post-credentialing
Other Requirements:
- Own a personal laptop (non-Mac) with reliable internet access for training and reporting
- Ability to perform exams on-site at leased facilities or within your own practice
- Flexibility to work half-day (4 hours) or full-day (up to 8 hours) shifts
- Willingness to travel locally or to other designated areas as needed (travel expenses reimbursed)
- Must complete required training via Reach360 platform and submit assessments within specified timeframes
