General Surgeon

Providence Saint John’s Health Center is seeking a fellowship-trained Surgical Oncologist/General Surgeon to join a collaborative team delivering high-acuity cancer and general surgery care with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques and innovation. The role offers a mix of clinic, surgery, and research, supported by a strong care team infrastructure and close alignment with Saint John’s Cancer Institute.

Position Duties:

• Surgical Oncology and General Surgery care, with fellowship training in Surgical
• Oncology .
• Perform procedures with robotic surgery preferred and a focus on minimally
• invasive surgery.
• Maintain an efficient outpatient practice averaging 10-12 patients/day, with 30-minute visits for both new and returning patients.
• Participate in a role that blends clinic, surgeries, and research.
• Share call responsibilities with an expectation of ~2 calls per month and availability for urgent/emergent inpatient consults and surgeries when on call.
• Compensation is $480,092 to $601,665 annually
