Indiana University Health Medical Group Department of Neurological Surgery, in partnership with Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a Functional/Stereotactical Neurosurgeon to join our academic group in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This Faculty position requires expertise in epilepsy surgery, focused ultrasound, deep brain stimulation, intrathecal pumps, spinal cord stimulators and/or complex peripheral nerve.
Position Details:
- Primary duties include participation in and expansion of established comprehensive Functional and Stereotactic neurological surgery
- Duties include program building; direct clinical care; and teaching of residents, fellows, and medical students
- Lead the multidisciplinary comprehensive Functional and Stereotactic Center, engage in academic pursuits and perform clinical research, maintain current funding, and secure future funding
Schedule:
- Call rotation with adult Neurosurgeons (generally 3-4 days per month)
- Outpatient clinic coverage at Goodman Hall, IU Health Methodist Hospital and the Indianapolis VA Hospital
Qualifications:
- American Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurosurgery
