Join Our Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Elevate Patient Care in a Dynamic Environment
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide exceptional anesthesia services across diverse clinical settings. This vital role offers the opportunity to work within a large, collaborative department, supporting a wide range of cases including GYN, orthopedics, urology, and vascular procedures, primarily serving adult and geriatric populations. If you are committed to delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced environment and enjoy rotational work across multiple facilities, we want to hear from you.
Ideal candidates will bring a minimum of 2 years of experience, hold board certification as a CRNA, and possess a valid state license (we accept compact licenses). The position includes the flexibility to work with Epic EMR systems and utilize advanced anesthesia equipment such as Glidescopes, Alaris IV pumps, and Draeger anesthesia machines. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are preferred to support comprehensive patient safety.
Required skills include strong clinical proficiency in anesthesia administration, excellent communication abilities, and adaptability to rotate between hospital and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) environments. Experience in a large departmental setting and familiarity with Epic EMR will enhance your application. While regional or block skills are not mandatory, a solid foundation in anesthesia practices is essential.
Additional skills that would be advantageous include proficiency with multiple anesthesia sites, the ability to coordinate with diverse surgical teams, and flexibility in scheduling. Prior experience working in outpatient surgery centers and managing adult/geriatric patients is preferred but not required.
Candidates with a valid state license or a compact license, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, and at least two years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. The position offers an all-inclusive hourly rate of $241.80, supporting a 13-week contract with shift options of 4x10-hour days (08:00–17:00). The schedule entails working four weeks per month, with rotations to up to three ambulatory surgery centers in Lexington, Irmo, or Northeast Columbia, typically up to once or twice weekly.
Candidates must be available to work full-time shifts consistently, including potential travel to different sites, with the flexibility to support occasional additional visits depending on case finish times. Credentialing is expected to take approximately 60–90 days, and we are willing to facilitate licensing for qualified candidates with a compact license.
