Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with active medical license in Kentucky
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology Oncology
• Proven experience in adult hematology and oncology patient management
• Strong clinical skills with proficiency in EPIC EMR
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with complex oncology cases
• Prior locum or hospital-based practice experience
• Additional certifications, such as Chemotherapy or Palliative Care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years post-residency or fellowship experience in Hematology & Oncology
• Prior experience working in outpatient clinic settings and hospital consults

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on 03/21/2026 and commit to ongoing coverage
• Must possess or be able to obtain Kentucky medical licensure
• Ability to handle an average patient census of 22 per day, including 2-3 new consults
• Willingness to work primarily in outpatient clinic settings with some hospital responsibilities
• Valid medical credentials and compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations
