Join Our Team as an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician – Make a Difference in Women's Healthcare

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care during 24-hour in-call shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.
- Manage labor and delivery cases, including participation in high-acuity scenarios in a 10-bed Level 2 NICU.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including CNMs, Pediatric Hospitalists, and Anesthesia services, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Perform surgical procedures and assist in emergency obstetric interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation utilizing Meditech EMR system.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric case logs as an OB Hospitalist.
- Recent practice as an OB Hospitalist within the past 2 years.
- Board-Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN).
- Active Florida Medical License (or eligible for IMLC licensure with submission of LOQ).
- Active Florida DEA registration.
- Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery management, neonatal emergencies, and surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Training or experience as a Surgical First Assist.
- Prior experience in a Level 2 NICU setting.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Meditech.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- At least 2 years of recent experience practicing as an OB Hospitalist in a hospital environment.
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is advantageous but not required.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work 24-hour in-call shifts.
- Willingness to participate in back-up call coverage for Certified Nurse Midwives and Pediatric Hospitalists.
- Compliance with all hospital and regulatory standards, including licensure, certification, and reimbursement policies.
- Travel and licensing reimbursements are provided when applicable.
