Cardiology Associates of Schenectady is seeking a collegial and motivated Interventional Cardiologist to join a well-established, highly respected cardiovascular group. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a busy, high-quality cardiac catheterization lab with a comprehensive structural heart program. The program currently includes an experienced structural specialist, with the opportunity for candidate to perform TAVR based on interest and experience.

Position Details:

  • Full-time Interventional Cardiology position
  • Join a collaborative team of 40+ physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Full spectrum of services offered: Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Echocardiography, Vascular Surgery, and Cardiac Surgery
  • Shared call schedule (1:4 weekends)
  • No overnight noninvasive call responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive interventional care for patients with coronary artery disease and structural heart conditions
  • Evaluate patients through clinical assessment, imaging review, and diagnostic testing to guide treatment planning
  • Perform a full range of interventional cardiology procedures, including diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, and selected structural interventions

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
  • Licensed (or eligible) to practice in New York State
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care

Recruitment Package:

  • Base salary range: $600,000 – $650,000
  • Starting Bonus: $25K
  • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $25K
  • CME time & $4,500 annual expense allowance
