Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD), specialized in Neurology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Must possess an active, unrestricted New York State medical license.
  • Experience: New graduates are welcome to apply; experience in interpreting neurological diagnostics is a plus.
  • Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology. Proficiency in interpreting EEGs, EMGs, nerve conduction studies, and neuroimaging (CT, MRI) relevant to neurological diagnostics.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent written communication skills for clear and concise reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and provide diagnostic reports for neurological tests such as EEGs, EMGs, nerve conduction studies, and relevant neuroimaging.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and detailed documentation of all readings.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians within the multi-specialty practice to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance in all diagnostic interpretations.
