OU Health and the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine are seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a rapidly expanding academic behavioral health program in Oklahoma City.
This opportunity is part of a major investment in pediatric mental health, anchored by a newly expanded pediatric behavioral health facility designed to increase access to inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents across Oklahoma.
Opening December 2026, the Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health Behavioral Health Center represents a major investment in pediatric mental health care. This 172,755-square-foot, three-story facility will provide 72 inpatient beds for children and adolescents across Oklahoma.
Located on the OU Health campus, the center will offer a full continuum of inpatient services, including short-term stabilization, longer-term treatment, and care for neurodevelopmental conditions. Designed with both patients and families in mind, rooms will allow parents to remain with their children, reinforcing a supportive, family-centered care model.
