Job Description

Providence Medical Group is seeking a Per Diem Psychotherapist to join its behavioral health team at the Everett, Washington location.

This clinic provides a step-up in mental health services from traditional outpatient via Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) which is the focus of this position. Both tracks focus on coping skills and psychoeducation in a group setting around the signs and symptoms of depression and anxiety.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a new program that seeks to improve mental health services for adults in Everett and vicinity. The Psychotherapist primary function within the PHP is to provide short-term rapid stabilization within a multidisciplinary team. The psychotherapist provides structured treatment with modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) principles. The program embraces a trauma-informed environment of care.

  • Per Diem position
  • Monday to Friday schedule, day shifts only
  • Integrated electronic health record
  • Must be licensed to practice independently as a Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Washington
  • Experience with groups and working with interdisciplinary team
  • Must be eligible for credentialing by Medicare, Medicaid, and other Third-Party Insurance Payers
  • Addiction and chemical dependency experience a plus
  • Clinical experience with broad and diverse population base
  • Compensation is between $46.58 and $69.26 per hour
  • The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them
