In this role, you will be responsible for inpatient and outpatient procedures, providing expert consultation and care for adult patients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities to deliver comprehensive gastrointestinal services, including outpatient and inpatient care, consultations, and procedures.

Required Skills:

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology (BC or BE in Gastroenterology)
• Valid PA medical license
• DEA certification
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in gastroenterology
• Proficiency in performing outpatient and inpatient procedures
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently within a team environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Familiarity with complex GI procedures beyond basic outpatient work
• Previous experience in hospital-based gastroenterology practice
• Additional certifications in advanced GI procedures such as ERCP or EUS

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Residency and fellowship completed in Gastroenterology
• At least 1 year of post-residency experience in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania
• Ability to handle a 24-hour call schedule, including weekly overnight shifts
• Willingness to participate in ongoing credentialing processes (approximately 90 days)
• Eligible for hospital privileges and credentialing

Hourly Pay Rate: $443.43
