We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Gastroenterology Physician to provide exceptional care in a dynamic hospital setting. Your expertise will play a vital role in patient health outcomes and the delivery of top-tier gastrointestinal care.

Required Skills:

• Board Certification (BE or BC) in Gastroenterology
• Valid medical license in Pennsylvania
• DEA certification
• Minimum of 1 year prior clinical experience in gastroenterology
• Proficiency in procedures such as endoscopies; experience with ERCP or EUS is not required but advantageous
• Strong patient management skills for adult patient population (18+)
• Ability to support 24-hour call shifts and work 7-day blocks
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
• Ability to obtain credentialing within 90 days
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in a hospital environment with a case mix similar to a 593-bed facility
• Prior experience in managing both scheduled procedures and on-call responsibilities
• Additional certifications related to advanced endoscopic procedures
• Flexibility with work schedules, including 10-hour day shifts and support for weekends

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Successful completion of residency and fellowship in gastroenterology
• At least 1-year experience in a hospital setting preferred

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work 7 am to 5 pm shifts, with scheduled on-call hours
• Support staff available onsite, including anesthesiology
