Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interventional cardiology services, including advanced procedures such as STEMIs
- Support weekend general cardiology call duties
- Perform rounds, procedures, and patient management during scheduled shifts
- Adhere to hospital protocols and utilize EPIC electronic medical records system
- Maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and compassionate patient care
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology (BC or truly BE considered)
- Valid PA medical license or IMLC acceptance
- DEA certification
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
- Proficiency in performing STEMI procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hospital-based cardiology practices
- Additional certifications in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS)
- Familiarity with hospital workflows and EMR systems beyond EPIC
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Prior experience in a hospital environment with adult patient populations
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-acuity cases independently
