In this position, you will serve as the primary provider during your shifts, managing a wide range of cases including high-risk deliveries, VBACs, and C-sections, with support from experienced midwives and maternal-fetal medicine specialists. With an average of 700 deliveries annually and a 163-bed hospital equipped with EPIC EMR, you'll have the resources needed to succeed. Sleeping accommodations are provided at the hospital, ensuring you are well-supported during your 24-hour in-house call shifts.

Required Skills:

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (BC or BE)
• Valid Pennsylvania medical license
• DEA certification
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in obstetrics/gynecology
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to perform complex procedures including VBACs and C-sections

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience managing high-risk pregnancies
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
• Additional certifications related to women's health or fetal monitoring

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• At least 1 year of practice in a hospital-based OB/GYN setting

Other Requirements:

• Active PA medical license
• DEA registration
• Flexibility to work 24-hour shifts (up to 48 hours maximum)
• Credentialing completion within 90 days; temps available with a clean file
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations supporting obstetric emergencies

Hourly Pay Rate: $258.67
