We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Gastroenterology Physician to provide exceptional inpatient care within a dynamic hospital setting. Required Skills:
- Valid medical license to practice in Arkansas
- DEA certification
- Proven experience in gastroenterology, including endoscopies, GI bleeding management, and general GI evaluations
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital setting with multidisciplinary teams
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Prior involvement in inpatient rounding
- Familiarity with scheduling and call coverage requirements
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-residency experience in a hospital environment
- Prior experience working with adult and adolescent patient populations
Other Requirements:
- Local resident of Arkansas or willing to commute
- Availability for scheduled call shifts, including weekends
- Willingness to work night shifts (19:00 – 07:00) for 12-hour blocks
- Ability to perform procedures such as endoscopies and manage GI cases efficiently
