Required Skills:

• Valid medical license to practice in Arkansas
• DEA certification
• Proven experience in gastroenterology, including endoscopies, GI bleeding management, and general GI evaluations
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital setting with multidisciplinary teams

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Epic EMR system
• Prior involvement in inpatient rounding
• Familiarity with scheduling and call coverage requirements
• Bilingual abilities are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
• Minimum of 2 years’ post-residency experience in a hospital environment
• Prior experience working with adult and adolescent patient populations

Other Requirements:

• Local resident of Arkansas or willing to commute
• Availability for scheduled call shifts, including weekends
• Willingness to work night shifts (19:00 – 07:00) for 12-hour blocks
• Ability to perform procedures such as endoscopies and manage GI cases efficiently
