Job Description
- Specialty:
- Emergency Medicine
- Looking for ABEM trained only
- Coverage Needs:
- Need ASAP - Ongoing
- Must be able to cover 5+ shifts per month
- Shifts:
- Monday: 7a-4p, 1p-9p, & 9p-7a.
- Sunday & Tues-Thursday: 7a-3p, 2p-10p, & 9p-7a.
- Friday - Sunday : 7a-7p & 7p-7a
- Setting:
- Community acute-care hospital
- Level 3 Trauma center
- Census:
- 15 ED beds + 2 fast track
- 24k annual volume
- Average 65 patients per day
- 18.3% EMS
- 10% admitted patients
- Support Staff:
- NPPA coverage
- Mon-Tues: 10a-10p.
- Wed-Sun: 10a-9p
- Backup specialties: Ortho, GI, Telenephrology, Teleneuro, & Telepsych
- ICU available with 24-hour trauma coverage
- NPPA coverage
- Procedures:
- All Standard ER procedures
- EMR:
- EPIC
- Board Certification:
- Board Certified Required
- Travel:
- Hospital will cover
- Credentialing timeline:
- 60-90 days
- Requirements:
- Active TX state license
- Active DEA and CDS in TX or willing to transfer
- ATLS, ACLS
