Locum - Physician - Emergency Medicine Hot Springs, AR

We are currently recruiting four talented physicians to provide exceptional emergency care at a prestigious Level 2 trauma center in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Necessary Skills for Success:

• Valid medical license to practice in Arkansas
• Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Strong proficiency in emergency procedures (reductions, cardioversions, sedation, lacerations, chest tubes, intubations, central lines, traumatic injuries, EKG interpretation)
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with EPIC EMR and Dragon dictation preferred

Additional Qualifications that are advantageous:

• ACLS and PALS certification
• Experience working in Level 2 trauma centers
• Multi-shift flexibility including days, nights, and evenings
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience
• Current Medical License in Arkansas or eligible for licensure

Other Requirements:

• Availability to begin on May 1, 2026
• Willingness to work approximately 130 hours per month, covering various shifts
• Certification in ACLS, PALS, and trauma courses is desirable
• Must be able to perform required procedures and adapt to multi-disciplinary support staff
• Compensation includes malpractice coverage, orientation, holiday pay, and travel reimbursements where applicable
• Hourly pay rate: $400-$410, with orientation at $200-$205 per hour after 8 hours, and holiday pay at $600-$615 per hour
