Primary Care Physician – Sanitas Medical Center (Tampa / Hillsborough)

Opportunity Overview

Sanitas is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to join our outpatient team in the Tampa/Hillsborough area. This full time role focuses on high quality primary care, continuity, and prevention in a supportive, team based environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday rotating hours, plus one Saturday every six weeks
Setting: Outpatient primary care clinic
Specialty: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Emphasize preventive care, screenings, and patient education.
• Collaborate with an integrated care team and referral network.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Current or eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to patient centered, high quality care.
• Spanish fluency required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in value based or managed care settings.
