What You’ll Do:

• Manage OB triage and admissions, ensuring seamless transitions for expectant mothers
• Attend deliveries and provide skilled inpatient obstetric care
• Cover OB floors, handle ER GYN consults, and assist in Cesarean sections
• Respond to emergency situations in Labor and Delivery with confidence
• See unassigned patients and oversee private call coverage to maximize patient care and team collaboration

Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree with valid medical licensure in Texas
• Proven experience in obstetrics and hospitalist roles
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience working in a hospitalist program or OB/GYN setting
• BLS/ACLS certification
• Familiarity with health information technology and digital equipment
• Multilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of OB hospitalist experience preferred
• Current Texas medical licensure in good standing

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nighttime and weekend shifts
• Certification in BLS/ACLS preferred
• Willingness to travel as needed for licensure or educational purposes
