Pulmonology Opportunity – CHRISTUS Health

Position Overview:

Christus Trinity Clinic is launching a new Pulmonology service line to enhance its ability to provide ICU, CCU, Trauma, and general pulmonology services to the community. The goal is to open a dedicated pulmonology clinic, stabilize services in the region, and support both inpatient and outpatient care.

Practice Highlights:

• Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Procedures Performed: Simple in-office procedures (e.g., spirometry); advanced procedures based on physician skillset (e.g., thoracentesis, bronchoscopy)
• Equipment Available: Potential access to PFT machine; advanced imaging (CT, PET) available at hospital; Lab/X-ray Access available downstairs from clinic
• Call Type: ER and clinic call (both inpatient and outpatient)
  • Critical care coverage handled by hospitalist group; ER call specific to pulmonology
• EMR Systems: Epic

Ideal Candidate:

• Fellowship-trained in Pulmonology
• Preferably experienced
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
