The Remote Cardiac Radiologist is a subspecialty-focused role responsible for interpreting high-volume cardiovascular imaging studies within one of the fastest-growing programs in the country. This 100% remote, outpatient role offers exceptional earning potential and a collaborative environment alongside national leaders in Cardiac CT and MRI—all with absolutely no call, weekends, or nights.

Job Duties

  • Interpret a high volume of subspecialty studies, with a primary focus on Cardiac CT and MRI, alongside general diagnostic modalities (X-ray, CT, Ultrasound) in a remote outpatient setting.
  • Deliver prompt, accurate, and well-documented reports, leveraging an optimized workflow to meet explosive growth in cardiac volume.
  • Communicate critical and time-sensitive findings directly to referring providers and collaborate virtually with technologists to ensure gold-standard cardiac protocols.

  • Use advanced PACS, RIS, and cloud-based systems designed to streamline subspecialty workflows and maximize diagnostic efficiency.

  • Maintain active and unrestricted medical licensure across multiple states to support our national platform.
  • Contribute to a high-yield, consistent workflow during standard business hours with no evening or weekend requirements.

Education and Experience

  • Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Residency & Fellowship: Completion of an accredited Radiology Residency and a Fellowship in Cardiac or Thoracic Imaging.
  • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent).
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted medical licenses in applicable states (multi-state licensure highly preferred).
  • Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in advanced Cardiac CT and MRI; prior experience in a high-volume outpatient or teleradiology environment is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in remote diagnostic tools, PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills in a virtual work environment.
  • Strong written communication for clear and concise report generation.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and teleradiology-specific data privacy protocols.
  • Comfortable with high-volume caseloads and maintaining quality standards.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Technical literacy to troubleshoot basic remote workstation issues.
  • Familiarity with ACR guidelines, structured reporting, and clinical decision support tools.
