Required Skills:

• Current and valid North Carolina medical license
• Active NC DEA license with NC address
• Must be enrolled in PECOS as a provider
• NC Medicaid Credential and enrollment in NC Medicaid/North Carolina Medicare
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• No recent or open malpractice cases
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Demonstrated experience delivering babies, with case logs from the past 24 months
• Strong procedural skills including emergent C-sections and GYN procedures
• Ability to work on a 24-hour call schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in high-risk obstetrics
• Familiarity with transfer protocols for high-risk patients
• Previous work in hospitalist or acute care settings
• Ability to perform complex GYN procedures
• Bilingual capabilities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Residency completion in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• A minimum of 2 years of practice experience in a hospital environment
• Proven track record in high-risk obstetric care and emergency procedures

Other Requirements:

• Must be within 20 minutes of the hospital premises in accordance with bylaws
• Willingness to round on patients, handle emergent gynecological procedures, and participate in on-call duties
• Travel reimbursements capped at $500 for mileage, rental cars, gas, or airfare
• Ability to provide detailed case logs and respond to all pre-application questions promptly
