Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease, with a focus on non-invasive procedures
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Experience managing adult and geriatric patient populations
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, proficiency with the EPIC EMR system

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience in outpatient, inpatient, and call settings
• Experience supervising Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs)
• Familiarity with the Richmond, VA healthcare landscape

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current, unrestricted medical license in Virginia
• At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in cardiology

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work local, full-time coverage (Monday-Friday plus call)
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of approximately 120 days
• Ability to obtain necessary privileges and certifications
• No travel requirements beyond local coverage
