Required Skills:

• Valid medical license and board certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
• Proven experience managing inpatient cardiology cases.
• Ability to perform comprehensive cardiac assessments and interventions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with advanced cardiac imaging or interventional cardiology.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience within hospital settings.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in inpatient cardiology.
• Previous experience working in hospital-based cardiac units.

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work inpatient shifts from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with night pager call responsibilities (5 p.m. – 7 a.m.).
• Ability to cover multiple scheduled weeks: September 7-13, October 26-November 1, December 21-27, and December 28-January 3, 2027.
• Willingness to work both inpatient day shifts and night call shifts; providers must be able to perform both.
• Response to outreach communications promptly, with availability to indicate preferred coverage weeks.
• OT applies after 10 hours per day; must adhere to all federal, state, and local staffing regulations.
