Nuclear Medicine Physician – Nashville VA Medical Center
The Nashville VA Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine physician to provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services for our nation’s Veterans. You will interpret PET, SPECT, bone, thyroid, and cardiac scans; perform targeted radionuclide therapies (including radioiodine and radiolabeled antibody therapy); and ensure safe radiopharmaceutical use in accordance with NRC and state regulations.
You will collaborate closely with radiologists, oncologists, cardiologists, endocrinologists, and primary care teams, participate in tumor boards, and communicate imaging results and treatment plans directly with patients. Academic interests are welcome: you will have opportunities to teach residents, fellows, students, and technologists, and to engage in quality improvement and optional clinical research.
