What You'll Do:
- Provide comprehensive general urology services, including ureteroscopy, to adult and geriatric inpatients.
- Cover both St. Francis Downtown and St. Francis Eastside facilities, showcasing your adaptability and commitment.
- Collaborate with a team of five Urologists and onsite ancillary staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Support inpatient services, including trauma-level 3 patient care, 7 days a week, ensuring patients receive the attention they deserve.
- Work alongside other Urologists, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
Required Skills:
- Valid medical license to practice in South Carolina.
- Proven expertise in general urology procedures, particularly ureteroscopy.
- Strong inpatient care skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and clinical judgment skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in a hospital-based setting or locum roles.
- Knowledge of trauma protocols and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Familiarity with hospital workflows and electronic medical records.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Urology.
- At least 2+ years of clinical Urology experience, with inpatient care exposure.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to cover both facilities in Greenville, SC.
- Ability to commit to a locum assignment starting April 28, 2026.
- Travel expenses such as flights, hotel, rental cars, or mileage will be reimbursed at IRS standard rates.
- Certification in ACLS or ATLS preferred but not mandatory.
