Hospitalist Pediatric Physician
Join Our Dedicated Team as a Hospitalist Pediatric Physician to Make a Critical Difference in Pediatric Care. We are seeking a committed and skilled professional to provide essential inpatient and nursery coverage during specific weekends in June. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a flexible, remote call environment, supporting newborns, pediatric inpatients, and emergency cases with minimal volume while ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Required Skills:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Ability to intubate and place lines in infants
- Experience stabilizing infants and managing neonatal emergencies
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and remote call response capabilities
- Ability to work independently in a hospital setting
- Knowledge of inpatient pediatric and neonatal care protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior hospitalist experience
- Familiarity with neonatal transport and stabilization procedures
- Experience with neonatal resuscitation programs (NRP)
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree in Pediatrics or Family Medicine with pediatric specialization
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Pediatric hospitalist experience preferred but not required
Other Requirements:
- Able to start promptly on June 5, 2026, through June 8, 2026, and June 19, 2026, through June 22, 2026
- Willingness to work 24-hour shifts (night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- No licensing required for these dates; license readiness is not necessary for June coverage
- Ability to respond to calls from hotel or home with a 30-minute response time
- Must provide case logs and verify AR license (if applicable) for expedited credentialing
Compensation:
Hourly Pay Rate: $2,730.00
Bill Rate: Flat fee of $6,700 for each weekend (Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM)
