Exciting Opportunity for Locum Primary Care Physician in Pendleton, OR
Join our team as a Locum Physician in Primary Care and make a meaningful impact in the Pendleton community. This dynamic role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver quality healthcare services for a duration of 9 to 12 months, providing stability and professional growth in a supportive environment. You will be integral to ensuring continuous patient care at St. Anthony Hospital, covering a busy primary care practice with diverse patient needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid medical license for Oregon
- Board-certified or eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Proven experience in primary care medicine
- Proficiency in managing a wide age range from newborns to geriatrics
- Strong clinical skills, including primary care procedures and potentially circumcisions
- Ability to work independently with excellent communication skills
- EMR proficiency with eClinicalworks
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with adolescent care
- Familiarity with rural or underserved healthcare settings
- Additional procedures beyond primary care scope
- Bilingual abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of primary care experience
- Prior locum or temporary assignment experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Willingness to provide consistent coverage for up to 12 months
- Must be able to start as soon as credentialed
- Must meet all state, federal, and local licensure requirements
- Ability to travel, with airfare up to $750, lodging accommodations as per policy, rental car support, and mileage reimbursement
- Coverage includes full days, with no overtime or on-call responsibilities
