Internal Medicine - Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology

Required Skills:
- Board-certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology
- Proven experience with inpatient rounding and managing advanced heart failure cases
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a hospitalist and consultative framework
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with VAD management and device therapy
- Subspecialty training or certification in heart failure and transplant medicine
- Prior experience with inpatient hospital settings and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to support a minimum of 2 weeks per month, including potential locum to perm opportunities
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Fellowship training or extensive experience in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology
- At least 3 years of post-training clinical experience in a hospital-based setting
Other Requirements:
- Active medical licensure in the state of practice
- Certification in ACLS and BLS
- Ability and willingness to support inpatient care on North campus with in-house hospitalist and critical care coverage
- No transplant procedures at this facility, but VAD support experience is valued
- Open to candidates interested in locum to perm roles
