Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with current, unrestricted medical license in Ohio
• Board certification in Hematology and Oncology or significant experience in the specialty
• Proficiency in outpatient hematology and oncology practices, including patient evaluations, ordering/interpreting labs and imaging, and prescribing treatments
• Ability to administer chemotherapy and collaborate in tumor board discussions
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills
• Comfortable working independently within the outpatient setting and following established protocols

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with EPIC EMR system
• Prior work in a Level II Trauma Center or similar setting
• Familiarity with outpatient oncology workflows and multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Bilingual abilities to assist diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Completion of residency and fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology
• Minimum of 2 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in outpatient hematology/oncology
• Prior locum or emergency coverage experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Availability from September 1, 2026, to January 18, 2027, with specific hours Monday-Wednesday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• No on-call or weekend duties required
• Credentialing estimated at approximately 120 days
• Ability to travel and accommodate reimbursement for flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rates
• Commitment to compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local laws and regulations
