Urology Physician

Required Skills:
- Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Urology
- PA State License (preferred for quicker onboarding)
- Valid DEA certification
- Minimum of 1 year of Urological practice experience
- Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Record system
- Strong surgical skills including cystoscopy, vasectomy, ureteroscopy, penile procedures, lithotripsy, circumcisions, and supportive OB procedures
- Ability to supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and adapt to diverse clinical scenarios
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with robotic surgery
- Prior exposure to operating room procedures in a hospital setting
- Knowledge of Scope procedures and OR management
- Bilingual capabilities or additional language skills
- Experience with emergency care and pediatric urological procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with active Urology specialty certification
- At least one year of post-training clinical experience in Urology practice, preferably in hospital or surgical settings
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR and robotic surgery systems
Other Requirements:
- Possession of valid PA medical license (preferred)
- DEA license required
- Credentialing process completion within approximately 90 days; temporary licensing options available with a clean file
- Availability for 5-day, day shift schedule (08:00 - 17:00)
- Willingness to supervise Advanced Practice Providers (NPs/PAs)
- Compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and hospital policies
- Ability to support emergency procedures and occasional pediatric cases when needed
